We'll look at your past results, what you ran, who did the work, and what frustrated you. TopKid has seen dozens of school fundraisers and has seen every mistake, including our own.

3-5 specific actions

These will be direct changes you can follow and not vague advice. "Stop doing X." "Try Y next time." "The reason you raised $3K instead of $8K was probably Z."

I started TopKid because I'd watched too many schools run fundraisers that exhausted their volunteers, left kids out of the experience, and made less money than they should have. We want to help school organizations by giving them an honest read on what they're doing.

That's the TopKid Report Card. It's the same expert review for every school no matter if they are working with us, or just need a sanity check on what they are doing.

But seriously, what's the catch?

Is this actually free? What's the catch?
It's actually free, there's no catch. If you decide after talking that you are interested in seeing if some of what we offer can help your school, that's great. If you can action the feedback from the Report Card yourself and aren't interested, that's great too! Both outcomes are fine. We do this because we'd rather help every school do a better fundraiser. There are more schools than we could ever work with, and this is our way to help every one.
Do you only do this for schools in your area?
No. The Report Card is for any PTA, PTO, or school anywhere in the US. We do this remotely: the call is on Zoom (or your platform of choice), and the report is emailed as a PDF.
What if I'm not the PTA president? Can I still ask for one?
Yes, as long as you're involved with the fundraiser in some real way (treasurer, fundraising chair, principal, teacher, even a heavily-involved parent). We just need someone who has the context and can speak to what actually happened.
We've never run a "real" fundraiser. Is this still useful?
Yes. If you're considering running your first fundraiser, the Report Card becomes a planning session: we'll help you think through what type to run, common pitfalls, and what success would look like. You get a written report with our recommendations.
What if we want help executing on the recommendations?
TopKid offers paid services for schools that want help, everything from a DIY blueprint (you run it, we give you the playbook) to full-service execution. If that's of interest, we can discuss it at the end of the call, but that's your decision. The Report Card itself is free and unconditional.
How many Report Cards can you do?
All Report Card reviews are with TopKid founder, Michael, who personally reviews every one. If we're booked out, you'll see a longer scheduling window when you book your call.
