About Us

Hi I'm Michael, founder and owner of TopKid. I am a former Evening Street Elementary PTA President and current youth soccer coach.

The idea of TopKid came about as all ideas do, slowly and then all at once. As a coach I have seen first-hand the impact positive adult role models can make in kids' lives. I have witnessed how education, accountability, and true support of our children empower them to be successful in whatever they choose to accomplish.

My time on the PTA introduced me to many people in similar positions around central ohio, and I commonly heard about the same frustrations PTAs/PTOs face: Having to repeatedly ask the same parents to help, kids aren't interested or are unaware of fundraising, the school does too many fundraising events, the ideas are stale and boring.

TopKid was created at the confluence of these ideas and problems. I truly believe kids, in their nature, are proud of their school and want to be given the opportunity to help fundraise. Our job is to find and give that motivation, education, proper support, and direction to the students.
